Just a few photos from our preparation for the big Christmas celebration. We have been having fun making cookies this week. Sara and the kids have made real cookies, some of which they painted. Karis of course was the master artist. Then we made our chocolates.

Here the crew is ready to sample some of the chocolate covered pretzels.

We had some good friends over for a BBQ on the 23rd so our kids could have time to play together. They are great friends and go to the same school. The food was great.

My chocolates passed the Matthew taste test. I am not sure how he could have sampled it very well since so much of the chocolate ended up on his face.
We had our Christmas Eve time when we read and talked about the Christmas story. One thing I learned this year was the definition of joy. Joy is happiness times two. At least that was what Karis thought.

Here is our plate of cookies left out for Santa. For all who need to know Santa loves chocolate.
